**Parents of 7th graders, use your best judgment in determining the best class for your child.
Each Sunday morning, children ages 4 through high school have a small group Bible study of their own – in Sunday School! Classes include looking into God’s word, discussion of discipleship issues, verse memorization, and a relationship with the same teacher every week. Our littlest ones, ages 4-6, spend 2-3 years in the preschool/kindergarten class. Students then rotate through three classes during grades 1st through 6th, exploring God’s servants, obedience, the importance of the tabernacle, Paul’s missionary journeys, the life of Christ, and finally, an overview of the entire Bible. Youth ages 7th-12th grade meet each week with teacher Jason McCluskey to study various books of the Bible, theology, and practical life applications of Scripture. Ask students who come each week why they love to be there. Sunday School is worth the extra hour on Sunday morning and can pay long-term dividends in your child’s life!
What will you do while your kids are learning about God? Join the Adult Bible Study, led by Pastor Keith. It’s a great way for you to deepen your Bible knowledge, grow in your Christian walk, and strengthen your faith. You will be better equipped to share the Gospel with others, including your own children.
Main Service Opportunities for Kids
Children are always welcome in our worship service. You never need to worry about your child being an interruption. Children are a gift from the Lord!
We know there are some parents who want to be able to give their full attention to the sermon. In this case, we have options for you and your children here at Harvest.
Nursery (birth-age 3) is available from 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. It is located down our main hallway, the first door on your right, closest to the sanctuary.
Kingdom Kids (age 4-grade 4) is our version of “children’s church” and occurs from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Upon dismissal, parents are asked to accompany their child/ren to the classroom, the first door on the right AFTER the bathrooms. Please help your child to get a name tag, sign them in, and take a number-coded wristband to aid with pick-up.
If kids wish to stay with their parents in church, Sermon Notes Sheets are available from our Connection Corner in the rear of the sanctuary.
Other Helpful Information
A changing station is conveniently located in our nursery area.
Should you need a quiet place to rock your infant, there are rocking chairs in our nursery as well as in several of our classrooms, which are unoccupied during the worship service.
Your children are precious to us. All teachers and caregivers have been carefully screened and background-checked to work with children.
